Meet Hunter!

Born in Armidale, New South Wales, Australia in 1945.

Hunter is the only child of provincial parents, and was brought up in an atmosphere of strict Protestantism. After a desultory education, he left home at 15, moving to the infamous Kings Cross, Sydney, Australia, where he found employment in a variety of dead-end jobs.

Inspired by the beat and hippy generation, hewrote short stories, poems and acted in experimental theatre. Moving to New Zealand in 1969, he worked for many years in film publicity.

The writings of Henry Miller, Anais Nin, the Marquis de Sade and Nabokov’s “Lolita” encourage him to continue writing.

Hunter currently lives in Auckland, New Zealand. You can add him on Facebook or contact him directly by email.
